ISAGER Mulberry Silk is a fine, thin, 100% silk yarn, spun with 2 threads. We mostly use it in knitting together with our other yarns. Every yarn is “lifted” by being knitted together with Mulberry Silk. The silk adds softness and elegance to any project when knitted together with other yarns from the Isager range. Mulberry Silk works particularly well when held together with Isager Spinni or Tvinni (100% wool) or Isager Palet (100% cotton), as it gives a beautiful, cool and glossy look that complements the more matte yarns. When the silk is combined with wool yarns, it adds softness without the “long-haired” look as with Isager Silk Mohair. It is especially suitable for lighter textiles, scarves and baby clothes.
